Sit Poem Chat

Online daily morning sitting group

In these challenging times, and with our meditation center temporarily closed, it can be easy to feel isolated, adding to our fears and anxieties. This is right at the time when we need our dharma practice the most. Meeting and practicing together online can help us stay connected and strengthen our practice.

This group meets online using the Zoom platform every morning at 9:00 am. Sessions last 45 minutes. We will have different facilitators leading the group and will sit silently for 30 minutes. The facilitator will read an inspiring poem or short paragraph before or after the sit. Finally, there will be time to connect and talk about our practice and check in with each other.

Please note that beginning Friday, May 15, the starting time will be changed to 8:00 am.
