A Day for Emotional Mindfulness

Saturday March 30

10 am - 4 pm

Led by Devin Wallace

and Laura Liss

Our emotions are vitally important for our mental and physical wellbeing -- and also for our capacity to act in the world as wise, cooperative and caring human beings. Despite this, we have such little understanding of this enormous emotional realm!

In this one day retreat, we'll take a look at what emotions are and how to manage them more skillfully -- with guidance drawn from Buddhist & Taoist teachings, along with insights from cutting edge neuroscientists.

The retreat will include periods of silent meditation, guided meditation, talks, mindful movement (qi gong & yoga) and discussion.

All interested practitioners are welcome and no prior experience is necessary.

This retreat will be held in person at the White Heron Sangha Meditation Center.

For retreats, participants are required to do a Covid test before attending. Please read the general protocol here

Pack a lunch. Tea and snacks will be available.

Registration for this retreat is required and space is limited. There is no fee and dāna will be accepted.
