A Year To Live

A Year To Live

April 2024 through March 2025
on the second Monday of the month
from 4:30-6pm

Led by Susan Quinones

As we enter the spring of this year, what a wonderful opportunity to ask ourselves, “What if I only had one more year to live?

This class will be a year-long practice in using death… and life, as an object of contemplation to help us awaken to the fleeting and precious nature of our lives. Through inquiry and group discussions, and with the support of community, we will be guided through a process of living this year as if it were our last.

The class will be made up of 12 sessions starting on Monday April 8 from 4:30-6pm, in person only. Participants will be asked to commit to attending all twelve sessions to maintain a container of trust and safety. If you are unable to commit to at least 10 of the 12 sessions, please consider taking this class at another time. Also, if you have taken A Year to Live previously, please let someone else have a turn.

Participants must attend the orientation on April 8. The rest of the dates are: May 13, June 10, July 8, August 12, September 9, October 14, November 11, December 9, January 13 (2025), February 10,  and March 10.

The class will be facilitated by Susan Quinones, who is a member of White Heron Sangha and a registered nurse trained in Hospice and End of Life Care.

Registration is required. Class size is limited.
