Invited Teacher - Tina Rasmussen - What is Awakening
What is Awakening? 4 Practices Rooted in Tradition and Confirmed by Neuroscience
An Overview of Her Upcoming WHS Retreat on March 16-17
In this dharma talk Tina will provide an overview of the four categories of meditation practice that are rooted in the Buddhist tradition and have now been confirmed by neuroscience. She will also briefly address the question: “What is awakening?” Awakening is the inspiration for many on the spiritual journey, but we may be unclear about what it is, how it happens, and what we can commonly encounter.
Tina will be teaching a weekend retreat at White Heron Sanga on March 16-17, 2024 on this topic, and this talk dharma provides an overview of what will be expanded upon in that retreat regarding the four practices and the journey of awakening.
