White Tara has long been associated with the mysterious feminine power of the moon, so we have decided that our next Tara Practice will take place on the night of the full moon. Tara is the living embodiment of the Buddha’s boundless compassion and the vast emptiness of the awakened mind. In this practice, we will learn to use the power of our imagination to bring her before us and eventually to merge with her and her awakened wisdom. Visualization of this female Buddha not only builds concentration, it helps balance our female and male energies, and helps free us from the limitations of our deluded sense of self.
We will meet at our Meditation Center from 7:30pm until around 8:30 on Monday July 3rd for instruction, discussion, and to practice together.
