A Year To Live

A Year To Live

January through December 2023
The fourth Monday of each month, 4:30-6pm

Led by Susan Quinones

As we enter this new year, what a wonderful opportunity to ask ourselves, “What if I only had one more year to live?

This class will be a year-long practice in using death… and life, as an object of contemplation to help us awaken to the fleeting and precious nature of our lives. Through inquiry and group discussions, and with the support of community, we will be guided through a process of living this year as if it were our last.

The class will be made up of 12 sessions on the 4th Monday of each month from 4:30-6pm, in person only. Participants will be asked to commit to attending all twelve sessions to maintain a container of trust and safety. If you are unable to commit to at least 10 of the 12 sessions, please consider taking this class at another time.

Participants must attend the orientation on January 23. The rest of the dates are: February 27, March 27, April 24, May 22, June 26, July 24, August 28, September 25, October 23, November 20 (third Monday due to the holiday),  and December 18 (third Monday due to the holiday).

The class will be facilitated by Susan Quinones, who is a member of White Heron Sangha and a registered nurse trained in Hospice and End of Life Care.
