"Living in the present while planning for the future"
White Heron Sangha Meditation Center (in-person only)
Giving some thought to what's most important to you and considering the "what ifs" can create a sense of peace but it can also present some real challenges and anxiety. What have you found to be difficult? What has brought you peace of mind? What are some of the ways that you have prepared for the end of your life?
I hope you’ll join us as we explore this topic, taking time for personal reflection and for sharing with each other.
The discussion will be facilitated by Susan Quinones, who is a member of White Heron Sangha and an RN trained in Hospice and Palliative Care. She works with Wilshire Hospice in San Luis Obispo, where she has been since 2009. She speaks throughout the community regarding Hospice and end of life care.
Please email Susan at firstname.lastname@example.org
if you think you might be attending, so she will have an idea of how many will be there.
This discussion group is open to all who are interested and is offered freely. Dana to White Heron Sangha and to the facilitator are appreciated.
If you would like to attend but need a ride, please email Susan so she can help to make those arrangements. If you are willing to provide a ride for someone, please let Susan know along with your contact info.
