It is a great paradox that as old as our body gets, we may still feel young and even exuberant on the inside! Perhaps it's a sign that our Buddhist practice has revealed the not-self of the body, and we no longer hold to it so firmly as "me, mine, myself." This is one of the potential gifts of living long - we may live beyond and out of many of our self-centered preoccupations. Aging provides the perfect curriculum for our Buddhist practice.
