Music and entertainment provided by our local favorites:
Bob and Wendy Liepman performing original music on the Central Coast for over 30 years. They have released several albums and have a new single “California Melodies” now playing on the radio and on Spotify. Wendy Liepman, writing songs since age 10, says, “Song writing and singing are part of my spiritual practice. Many of my songs are influenced by my unfolding understanding of the Dharma”. Bob Liepman, accompanies Wendy on the cello and also plays with the San Luis Chamber Orchestra and the band Carbon City Lights.
Devin Wallace our own playwright and songwriter, performing topical songs with audience participation. His music speaks to the extreme challenges we are currently facing and audience participation allows us to cross the musical bridge to find some joy and healing. Devin is a nationally awarded playwright and a songwriter/guitarist. He has composed music for theatre and videos. He is skilled in the therapeutic use of music in clinical rehab settings. Lately he has been performing at the rallies sponsored by No Kings and other activist organizations.
“Generosity is a central virtue of Buddhism praised for its power to cultivate joy and spiritual growth. Generosity brings happiness at every stage…intending to give, in the act of giving, and remembering after the fact.” ~ attributed to the Buddha ~
