Dawn Neal - Cultivating Resilient Inner Ecology

 

Tonight's talk will touch on ways to cultivate internal resilience, coherence, and calm in our internal ecology, all of which increase our capacity to navigate life's storms.

 

Dawn Neal is a practitioner, Buddhist Chaplain, and Dharma teacher trained by Gil Fronsdal and Andrea Fella. In 2023, she became the  Guiding Teacher for Insight Santa Cruz. She teaches a regular group for Insight Meditation Center, and offers residential retreats.

Dawn is core faculty for the Sati Center for Buddhist Studies Online Buddhist Chaplaincy Training Program. She holds an MA in Buddhism and Pastoral Care and Counseling. Before teaching the Dharma full time, she served as an Interfaith Spiritual Care professional (Chaplain) at Stanford Medicine. Her writing is published in Buddhist Studies journals and Refuge in the Storm, a Buddhist anthology. You can find her talks on audiodharma.org, YouTube, and Dharma Seed.
