a six week series
Monday evenings, October 23 to November 27, 2017
By exploring how we think of death—our beliefs about and our fears of dying—we can start to shift our relationship with it. What would it be like to approach death and dying using the dharma? Can we bring the same qualities to dying that we bring to our meditation? In this class we will explore this and related topics, sharing one of the most important and intimate parts of life. This class is appropriate for people who have a strong meditation practice and a basic understanding of the dharma.
The class will be held at Crows End Retreat Center, 6430 Squire Court, San Luis Obispo (directions). Although the 6 week series is offered freely for the community, dana is appreciated to support the White Heron Sangha Meditation Center and Crow's End Retreat Center. Class size will be limited to 12 people. Due to the sensitive nature of the topic, it is expected that participants be able to attend all 6 classes.
